Location: North Office Building 1st Floor Conference Room (outside of Cafeteria) Wednesday, August 29 from 1630 to 1930 hours. Location: Security Building Training A tentative agreement has been reached.
We will be holding question and answer meetings on Sunday, August 26th and Monday, August 27th from 1630 to 1930. Members are urged to attend either before or after shift. Voting for this tentative agreement will be held on Tuesday, August 28th and Wednesday, August 29th from 1630 to 1930. Again, all members are urged to attend either before or after shift. At this time, all meetings and voting will take place in the Security Building (CRB) on site. Any changes to this notification will be posted to this site and put out to Crew Stewards. Click the link to review some of the contract highlights. Summary of Changes Negotiations are scheduled again for August 20 - 24, 2012.
Because of this, we are having a special set of meetings before hand on Tuesday, August 14th and Thursday, August 16th at the Geyers United Methodist Church to discuss several important issues. All members are urged to attend. Our next quarterly general membership meetings will be held on September 11th and 13th at 1830 hours at Geyers United Methodist Church.
Early negotiations were terminated today and will likely resume in the fall. No agreement was reached. The total economic package was the biggest deterrent to a meeting of the minds.
Monday - Day 1
Many of the non-economic Articles and those with no changes were Tentatively Agreed (TA'ed) upon. Tuesday - Day 2 Economic issues were started as well as a schedule change. The Company offered the "Power Through Health" program as a benefit. See your Company email or talk to your crew Steward for more details on this program. Negotiations are currently scheduled to begin on Monday, June 18, 2012 in Harrisburg, PA.
Suggestions have been collected from each crew and are currently being reviewed and prioritized by the Executive Board. Check back often for further changes and updates! Our next general membership meeting will be held on June 12th and 14th, 2012 at 1830 hours at Portabell'a Sports Bar & Grille.
